Expansion of the Batasiolo cellars

This new construction allowed the connection of the two buildings from the inside, without having to resort to the external passage to reach the winemaking department.
The structure was built in reinforced concrete on site, as regards the foundations and retaining walls against the ground, and with a prefabricated structure for the elevation and horizontal works with a capacity of 2 kg/m3.000.
The new barrel cellar has a strong architectural and functional impact, dominated by a false ceiling with a wave-like shape that represents the progression of the reliefs of the surrounding hills, further recalled by the backgrounds in segments of irregular trapezoids that represent the size of the land and vineyards.
